The perfect beach getaway in the heart of Monterey Bay!
Some friends and I spent three nights at this property in early June, and from the living spaces, to the breathtaking views, to the instant beach access, everything about it was spectacular! The whole place is bright, clean, modern, and exquisitely decorated. The wall-to-wall windows on the main floor offer expansive views of the Pacific Ocean, and the furnished deck was perfect for sipping tea in the morning or reading a book at sunset. As you can imagine with a property right in the middle of Monterey Bay, the scenery was unbelievable! I think we probably saw more dolphins than people, and we were lucky enough to spot a few sea lions and even a humpback whale breaching in the distance.
Inside, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. All the furniture was comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the living space was everything you could ask for in a home away from home. Downstairs, through either bedroom, we had easy access to a second private deck and stairs right down to the beach (which lived up to its name with all of the sand dollars we picked up along the seemingly endless shoreline). For the full beach experience, the rental even came with beach chairs and a fire pit to roast marshmallows in the evening. All in all, it was a great few days of relaxation, made better by near-perfect location and accommodations. I would whole-heartedly recommend the property to anyone looking to get away from it all!
