Once again….wonderful!

LOVE this home. Very well kept, clean, and comfortable. Stepping out the bottom floor rooms, down a few stairs, and onto the sand is just the icing on the cake. Kitchen is well appointed. Provided linens and towels are a wonderful + too. Everything has its spot and it tidily labelled. I love that! The week goes by way to fast and we are never ready to leave. The only thing I would change is having a TV on the main floor in the main room. (There is one one the main floor in the ‘playroom’, but the kids take that one over!) Can’t wait to go back next year!!

 I’m glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to having you back. To clarify – we have 4 tv’s in the property – one in each bedroom + the bonus room on the main level. We have reserved the living room as the only room in the entire house with out a tv to take in the beauty and enjoyment of the beach and the ocean sounds.

Even though the weather was one of the biggest storms of the year it was a fantastic trip. Just sitting on the various balconies watching mother nature at its finest was great. The views are fantastic and the place very comfortable. Plenty of room for all! Great location, quiet but an easy drive to most popular places.

The view was always spectacular and the home was very comfortable. We all had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for checking out all the sites in the area.

Firewood

Firewood

There is firewood sometimes for sale right off San Andreas Road.
  • When you come off the freeway, your first stop sign is at Seascape.
  • Second stop sign is at Playa.
  • The very next street to the left is Escuela
if the sign is up on the corner, then they have wood. If there is no sign, then there is no wood.
Go up the street toward the end on the left is the house with the wood.

Safeway – Aptos (Open 24 hours)

Typical Safeway, crowded, smaller, not that nice. On the way if you are going south on Highway 1
Exit State Park. Turn left back over the freeway, you will see it on your right they also have gas

Deluxe Foods – Aptos/Rio Del Mar (Open most days 8 am– 9 pm)

On the way if you are going south on Highway 1. Exit Rio Del Mar, go right and it is on the right.
I like Deluxe Foods a lot. Lots of selection, fresh local breads and other items. A bit more pricey than Safeway
but better in every way. Also has a Peets coffee inside

Nob Hill – Capitola (Open most days 6 am– 11 pm)

On the way if you are going south on Highway 1. Exit Bay Street, turn right and it is almost immediately on your right. Starbucks is in the same shopping center. Peets inside the store.

Nob Hill ‐ Watsonville (Open most days 6 am – 11 pm)

On the way if you are going north on Highway 1. Exit Green Valley Road, turn right on Main Street / Hwy 152, turn at first light on the left into the shopping center. Also a CVS in that same center.

Seascape Foods – Aptos / Seascape Village Shopping Center

I like this store and deli. Tends to be more on the healthy side. For example I don’t think they sell sodas like coke, but do other more natural type sodas. Good place for picking up a few groceries, but not your major shopping. If you need sodas, across from Full of Beans is a liquor store with other drinks.

Typical Costco. It is on the north side of Santa Cruz, so not super convenient.
